Giving thanks

As we enter into November we have to remember to give thanks for all that we have and for the people in our lives. Not everyone is as fortunate and you must remember to give thanks to the people that have made a difference in our lives. Even though many people are still recovering from the floods that devastated the city in August 2016, to be alive and have your health is a blessing.

In addition to this month being about Thanksgiving, for many they look forward to the days following this great holiday, which begins the shopping season. Black Friday, Small Business Saturday (image provided by http://www.downtownbend.org/shop-small-saturday/), and Cyber Monday are three of the hottest shopping days of year. Millions of dollars are spent on the Friday, Saturday, and Monday following Thanksgiving, and retailers prepare for these days months in advance.

When you are out shopping over these three days remember to be careful since a lot of people will be out and about trying to get great deals for the holiday season.
